Several!
I didn't see the Star Wars Christmas Special because it does not exist. I don't care if my sister-in-law has physical scars to prove me wrong. (Apparently, she kicked the TV over when it allegedly aired and broke her arm.)
That's when Boba Fett first appeared. Then you could get him by mailing in proofs of purchases.

"Nooooooo!"
It's so bad, it's not even funny bad. It's just so bad.
But, yes, it's when Boba Fett first appeared, which is what mda told me. That, and his sister thought Lumpy, the little Wookie, was really cute.
What? All of Christmas?
There's no place in your big heart for Christmas?
1) I'm an atheist. 2) The consumerism that runs rampant due to this holiday is retarded. 3) I do like sparkly things & hanging out eating good food & drinking with loved ones but I do all of those all year round. 4) I'm a bitch.

Cheers, sister!! The only good thing about Christmas is the Doctor Who special.
the one with whatshisname is evil.
I had a crush on the future Mrs Claus when I was a young'n
I used to like Rudolph until I realized that--no, not that Rudolph is all gay with that dentist elf--No, it's because Santa Claus comes off as a total ASSHOLE.
But A Wish For Wings That Work, aww, that always makes me sniffle. "He's a penguin so he can't fly and the ducks make fun of him, then he rescues Santa and the ducks some and pick up in the air at the end! SNIFF!"
Actually, I got a little choked up watching the Opus special. And when I was a kid, I bawled over Nestor.

A friend of mine dressed as the Heat Miser for Halloween one year. A little food dye helped.
I'm v. happy to note that I've only seen the Rudolph New Year's Eve special once. Or twice.

I'm not actually too young to have seen the SWHS the one and only time it aired, I was just lucky enough to miss it. I've seen it since. We have it. When we tell people and they want to see it, we explain to them that they don't. If they insist, the rules are that once it starts, you are strapped into the roller coaster for the whole damned ride - no turning it off.
It actually becomes slightly amusing, watching it inflicted on others.
I'm told this is the only way to watch it. Every 10 years. In a large group of n00bs. *shrug* I still haven't seen it so I don't know.
You could put their reactions up on YouTube, like people do for the hapless souls who are tricked to watch "2 Girls 1 Cup"

I don't know when the next group of victims will present itself, but that's not a bad idea.
What do you think poor Alex was made to watch?

LOL!
Not only did I see the Star Wars Holiday Special when it originally aired (at the wee age of five, mind you), but I also own an original LP of "Christmas in the Stars", gifted to me a couple of years later by my mother, and which contains my all-time favorite Christmas song ever: "What Do You Get A Wookie For Christmas (When He Already Owns A Comb)?"

I didn't see the Star Wars special because we didn't have cable I tried to see it but our rabbit ears got a barely discernable wookie shaped staticy mess. |
