Jumpin Jupiter II !

I'm watching Lost in Space. Not the movie, but the original series. I didn't know John Williams did the themes. I haven't watched an episode since I was a kid, but the incidental music is so incredibly familiar -- Those dramatic trombone flourishes.

Oh man. I can't wait until 1997 when we'll have all this fancy technology: Flying ships with nuclear propulsion; Cryogenic tubes; 30 year old teenagers.

It's less cheesy than I thought I would find it. And I've watched a few of the later episodes first.

It must have been weird back then: let's have Zorro and Timmy's mom from Lassie be the parents in the Space Family Robinson.

Oh yes. The had a real budget back in the B&W days. Notice how a lot of the storylines don't have Smith interacting with the Robinsons? He and the robot were added later. Bt you probably knew that.

I had a crush on Penny, too. There was a local Detroit artist who recorded a song called "I'm Saving Myself (For Angela Cartwright)" one of the early Fairlight CMI recordings.

Oh! Scott Campbell is on probation. Who'd have thunk it?

I keep expecting Young Will Robinson to wish Dr Smith into The Cornfield.

Actually, I was just thinking of watching Babylon 5. I just never did. Maybe I'll start.

I'm a 37 year old teenager, you got a problem with that?! Huh? Huh?!

:)

Oh sure. You show up after I go to bed. Boo!

Don't watch the movie. Just don't. DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIE.

Seriously, it would be a mistake.

The movie? Pretend it doesn't exist. If it tries to come into reality, ignore it.
